Life at WhizKeyInstead of traditional career ladders, we celebrate individuals’ strengths, skills, and interests, from your first interview to your long-term trajectory.
Our Philosphy on Diversity, Equity & Inclusion
We acknowledge that each member of our increasingly diverse community has their own needs, experiences, and opportunities. We center inclusion and listen to our community as we design policies, processes, and spaces.
We’re committed to promoting these values across the broader tech community. To give people from all backgrounds a chance to thrive in tech and support future leaders, we have several programs aimed at reducing barriers to access. We know it takes active effort to build an inclusive and equitable world where all voices are heard, and we’re committed to being part of the change.
Supporting our Community
Our benefits aim to promote health and wellbeing across all areas of our teams’ lives. We work to continuously improve our offerings, and listen to our community as we design and update them. Note that our offerings may vary by region as we strive to respond to the unique needs of teams around the globe.
Take-What-You-Need Time Off Policy
We offer a take-what-you-need policy to help our team achieve the balance they need to succeed, whether that means taking a long weekend, observing a religious holiday, or navigating school breaks as a parent. We also offer flexible working arrangements (including working from home) and hours.
We provide generous paid parental leave; a stipend for new parents; and family leave for taking care of loved ones. We also offer fertility services and adoption assistance. All WhizKey parents can take advantage of flexible working arrangements, childcare assistance, and other benefits and programming to support healthy families.
We recognize the need to hold ourselves accountable as we aim to improve diversity, equity, and inclusion. We maintain an internal dashboard of demographic data so the WhizKey team can see where we’re succeeding and where we’re falling short.
Our community is one of our greatest assets, and that extends beyond our colleagues. We welcome guests to our offices, and you can expect to see WhizKey families, friends, and furry friends around.
Mental Health and Wellbeing
Our holistic approach to supporting our teams’ mental health and wellbeing includes offering access to virtual therapy, coaching, complementary medicine, meditation, and fitness.
Our robust healthcare benefits for WhizKey team and their families exceed the industry average. This includes gender-affirming healthcare coverage, which we’re working toward offering to employees in as many locations as possible.
Supporting Future Leaders
We recognize that increasing diversity within the tech industry takes consistent, impactful action to increase access and opportunities for members of underrepresented communities. We have several initiatives to cultivate future leaders from these communities, including:
WhizKey Path is a summer internship program designed to give college sophomores and juniors a path into a career in technology. Understanding that not everyone has access to technical opportunities before college, we provide opportunity and exposure through hands-on learning and mentorship alongside engineers and analysts. Path interns interact with clients, get professional development from WhizKey team, and help influence decisions that impact our business and our customers’ missions.
In an effort to reduce financial barriers to access, WhizKey offers scholarships to support students from underrepresented communities in STEM who are beginning careers in technology. Scholarship recipients are invited to visit one of our offices for a full-day workshop focused on professional development and community building. All scholarship recipients are awarded grants of up to AED 10,000 to support their education.
We partner with several forward-thinking organizations who share our values in amplifying talented people from underrepresented backgrounds as they pursue careers in tech.
We support the development of our internal community and sponsor employees to attend conferences dedicated to connecting and promoting under-tapped voices. We also support and encourage employees to submit speaker proposals to amplify their accomplishments and experience.
